Definitions of UFO's

Nocturnal Light

A Distant Airbourne light, unidentified and seen at night.

Daylight Disc

A Distant airborne object witnessed in the daylight hours, which we will call a daylight disc, so called because of the prevalent shape reported is oval of disc -like. Although it should be remembered that the term is rather loosley applied.

C.E.1 (Close Encounter of the First Kind)

This category is the simple Close Encounter, in which the reported UFO is seen within approximately 500ft, but where there is no interation with the enviroment

C.E.2 (Close Encounter of the Second Kind)

These are similar to the First Kind, except that physical effects on both animate and inanimate material are noted. Vegetation is often reported as having been pressed down, burnt, or scorched. Tree branches are reported broken, animals are frightened, sometimes to the extent of physically injuring themselves. Inanimate objects, usually vehicles, are reported as becoming momentarily diabled, their engines killed, radio stopped, and headlights dimmed or extinguished. In such cases the vehicles reportedly return to normal after the UFO has left the ara.

C.E.3 (Close Encounter of the Third Kind)

In these cases the presence of occupants in or about the UFO are reported. Here a sharp distinction must be made between cases involving reports of the presence of presumably intelligent beings in or around the craft, and the so-called contact cases.

C.E.4 (Close Encounter of the Fourth Kind)

Abduction cases: In these cases people are taken aboard a craft, and usually examined. They do not usually recall the abduction until hypnotised and told to remember. The victim usually has unusual nightmares, a fear of certain places, panic attacks, and is sometimes left confused. These symptoms lead the victim looking for help, it is only then that hypnosis reveals the cause.
